Camp America - My Experience

My Twitter feed is currently full of excited posts retweeted by Camp America, of this years intake of staff.

From a young age when I saw all the photos of my aunties trip to do the Camp America programme, I knew it was something I wanted to do too.

Believing it was something that would never happen to me, I put off applying for far too long.

Finally in my final year of uni, when I realised it was time to enter the real world, I decided to ignore the real world for a bit longer and I applied.

New York, New York!

View from Liberty Island
New York was one of the most amazing experiences. Since I was young I have dreamed of visiting the fabulous city. My first experience of New York was great.

Summer.

It's safe to say I have probably had the most amazing summer of my life. You may have noticed my lack of posts over the last 3 months, and I assure you it was for a very good reason. I have spent the last 3 months working and travelling in America. I signed up for the 'Camp America' programme as I finished university and it was the best decision I made.

Illamasqua Summer Collection

Today I was very excited to receive an email from Illamasqua advertising their new summer collection. The collection is called Summer 2014 and includes matte lip liquids and blushers. The colours are of course very summery.

You are my sunshine.

Whilst walking around Oxford Street on my 'week before payday' trip to London, I was quick to notice a great trend this season. Yellow pastels were all over the place.
As I know we all love a good visual, here is a moodboard of my favourite yellow pieces, mainly from Topshop, River Island and Zara.
